“On Set Cinema” was created by Kenny Caperton and according to the website, Caperton lives in a life-size replica of Michael Myers’ house from John Carpenter’s original, Halloween (1978). Wow! Talk about dedication to the horror genre! What a fabulous idea if you are extremely detail-oriented with lots of money to boot.
We’re talking about an ongoing film series that brings movie screenings to life by showcasing horror classics at their actual filming locations. I have never heard of “On Set Cinema,” until now, but I have heard of and experienced something similar to the idea with the horror movie, Friday the 13th (1980). It’s called the Crystal Lake Tours and fans of the horror franchise can visit the original location of where the first Friday the 13th was filmed.
“On Set Cinema” takes you where these classic horror films were filmed at and presents them on a big screen. How exciting is that, right?
