For health and safety reasons, AMC has announced the delay in pre-production of the 11th season of The Walking Dead. Because of the Coronavirus fear and outbreak, production on the show has been pushed back three to four weeks. However, according to reports, showrunner Angela Kang, and the rest of the writers’ room, will remain open with scribes working remotely.
The Coronavirus has effected the lives of many people (especially those infected) and has most recently disrupted schools, work, productions and events all across the globe.

Additionally, AMC has also announced that they are shutting down the production of Fear The Walking Dead. Deadline has reported that the spin-off show will be halted for three weeks or more. They are hoping to pick up production by April 13.
