‘Stranger Things’ Season 4 Production Delayed Due To Coronavirus

Due to the global pandemic of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), Netflix has also delayed production for Stranger Things season 4. The show is considered to be one of the most successful shows Netflix has ever produced. According to reports, they were just entering the production phase for season 4; something that fans were extremely excited about considering the quick move between season 3 and the announcement of season 4. In the past, fans have experienced a long wait time between seasons. Now unfortunately, a delay will be no stranger to viewers as the Coronavirus outbreak has plagued everyone’s lives.

Just a month ago, a teaser trailer for the new season was released; which was expected to premier on Netflix sometime in 2020. Its release is now up in the air as Netflix didn’t want to take any chances with the safety of its cast and crew members.

Deadline has confirmed that production will be halted for two weeks. Other movies and television shows of Netflix are following suit throughout the United States and Canada.

On the bright side, fans have been given some information on casting and production recently. Production has left Atlanta for the first time in the series’ history and the shooting of season 4 will take place in New Mexico. The Coronavirus has been sweeping the board and tons of lives are being affected. We just have to wait this out and hope for the best for everyone.
